| The Budget Geo Brain Game Sweepstakes Official Rules NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit www.budget.com/geobraingame and complete the online entry form by following the entry instructions, including your answers to the quiz questions. All questions must be answered correctly to be eligible for a Weekly Drawing. Entries must be received during the applicable Weekly Drawing Period to be eligible for a given Weekly Drawing and any subsequent Weekly Drawing thereafter. Limit one (1) online entry per person or e-mail address per day (24 hour period). Although subsequent attempts to enter on a given day may be received, only the first entry received from a particular individual email account will be eligible; subsequent attempts to enter on a given day will be disqualified. Online entrants are subject to all online notices including, but not limited to Sponsor's privacy policies located at www.budget.com/budgetWeb/html/en/customer/privacy/index.html. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. All entries and requests become Sponsor's property, and will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, or misdirected entries. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age and older at time of entry. Employees of Budget Rent A Car System, Inc. (the “Sponsor”), National Geographic Society and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, and any other individual or company involved in the development or execution of the Sweepstakes, and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and households, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. WEEKLY PRIZE: Eight (8) Weekly Prizes (awarded one per Weekly Drawing Period): $1,000 face value in U.S. Series EE Savings Bond (Current Value: $500; face value, i.e., value at full maturity: $1,000 each). Full maturity date varies according to prevailing interest rates. U.S. Savings Bond subject to the cash redemption terms specified by the U.S. Government for Series EE Savings Bonds. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received per Weekly Drawing Period. Limit: one (1) Weekly Prize per household during Sweepstakes Entry Period. WINNER NOTIFICATION: A weekly winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received per Weekly Drawing Period. Weekly Drawings will be conducted within ten (10) days after each Weekly Drawing Period. Weekly Drawings will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Each weekly winner will be notified by mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release and all other required documents (“Prize Notification Documents”) within fourteen (14) days of date printed on notification. If winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute and return the Prize Notification Documents on the winner's behalf as well as comply with any other requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Prepaid overnight mailing envelope will be provided to each potential winner. The contact information (name, address, telephone number(s), email address) provided by each entrant during the Sweepstakes Entry Period shall serve as the contact information of record in respect of all communications with each entrant. If any winner is not reachable at the address and/or phone number provided [on entry] or if a prize notification is returned as undeliverable or any non-compliance with these Official Rules or if winner cannot accept or receive prize, such winner will be disqualified and, if sufficient time permits (at Sponsors’ discretion), then the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Each prize will be awarded within thirty (30) days after receipt and verification of completed Affidavit/Release. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Prizes are non-assignable or transferable. No prize substitutions by are permitted except if prize is unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and sales and income taxes on the prize. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of each winner. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner’s name, hometown, likeness, prize won, statements and photograph (all at Sponsors’ sole discretion) for future advertising, publicity in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. GENERAL: Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and the Sponsors, and release the Sponsors and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance and use of prize. Each winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Sweepstakes, use or misuse or redemption of prize. Sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (ii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules shall result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from the Sweepstakes any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the Sweepstakes if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winner(s) from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.
